Advances in study of mechanisms related to atrial fibrillation caused by rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract:Atrial fibrillation is a common arrhythmia,with a variety of pathogenic mechanisms in which inflammation plays a key role.Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that can occur with a systemic inflammatory response and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease development through immunity.Some clinical studies have found that rheumatoid arthritis associated with atrial fibrillation,which is related to the influence of various factors such as immune response,neuroendocrine disorders,oxidative stress and psychological stress which lead to the elevation of inflammatory factor,thus inducing atrial remodeling and promoting the occurrence and progression of atrial fibrillation.
