Abstract:Contrast induced nephropathy is a complex syndrome of acute renal failure after injecting iodinated contrast medium. The pathogenesis of contrast-induced nephropathy is not yet fully understood.Constructing a successful and reliable experimental animal model is the basis for studying the pathophysiological mechanism of contrast induced nephropathy. In most animal experiments, basic renal injury was performed before the injection of contrast media.According to the basic renal injury methods, they can be roughly classified into the following types:drug-induced kidney injury,nephrectomy,ischemia-reperfusion injury, established high blood pressure or diabetes and dehydration, etc. It is particularly important to select a reproducible, simple and clinically appropriate modeling method.
