Abstract:Atrial fibrillation is the most common type of cardiac arrhythmia.Catheter ablation has gradually superseded conventional drug therapy and emerged as the first-line clinical treatment for atrial fibrillation.Nevertheless, the high recurrence rate of atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation remains a clinical problem.Hence, accurately predicting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation is of great significance for patient selection and management.Currently, artificial intelligence is increasingly utilized in the medical field and holds certain value in predicting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation. This paper mainly summarizes the latest advancements of artificial intelligence in predicting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after the operation.
