Abstract:Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome, and its treatment often involves the combination of multiple drugs, which is crucial for improving the prognosis of patients. However, drug therapy also increases the risk of symptomatic hypotension, which may lead to adverse consequences and affect patient compliance with guideline-directed medical treatment, increasing the incidence of adverse events. Therefore, effectively managing symptomatic hypotension in heart failure patients is a clinical challenge. This article elaborates on the epidemiology of symptomatic hypotension in patients with heart failure, characteristics of high-risk populations, effective methods for identifying symptomatic hypotension, detailed procedures for medication adjustment, and recommendations for patient education to provide clinical doctors with better treatment strategies and management methods to improve the prognosis and quality of life of the patients.
