Abstract：Cognitive frailty(CF)is a kind of clinical syndrome that coexists with physical weakness and cognitive impairment,while excluding Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia,and easily transformed into dementia.And it's reversible to some extent.Heart failure(HF)is a common end-stage cardiovascular disease with a high incidence rate,morbidity,readmission rate and Case fatality rate,which shows a continuous increasing trend.The incidence of CF in HF is higher,especially in the elderly.CF will increase the risk of cognitive impairment,dementia,fall,accident and even death in HF patients,significantly affecting their later quality of life and increasing the burden on families and even society.Because the common pathogenesis of the two have not been fully elucidated,there is no clear means of diagnosis and treatment for CF in patients with HF.Therefore,exploring the common pathogenesis of HF and CF can provide important theoretical value for the diagnosis and treatment of HF patients with CF.This article mainly reviews the mechanism of chronic inflammatory response,sarcopenia,neuroendocrine dysregulation etc,to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of HF complicated with CF.
