Abstract:Heart failure(HF)is a group of syndromes with clinical manifestations of insufficient perfusion of organs and tissues caused by insufficient cardiac output because of various causes, while ventricular remodeling and ventricular diastolic insufficiency are the basic pathophysiological mechanisms for the development of HF.Fatty acid binding protein 4(FABP4)is an intracellular lipid chaperone involved in crosstalk between adipose and peripheral tissues, and is considered one of the most abundant proteins in mature adipocytes.FABP4 has now become a hot topic of research in cardiovascular disease and has been shown to increase the cardiometabolic risk in recent years.Phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)is an important kinase that catalyzes inositol and phosphatidylinositol in eukaryotic organisms. In recent years,it has been found that the activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway affects the growth, metabolism and apoptosis of cardiomyocytes, and this pathway,as well as many of its receptors and kinases, have been shown to have a close relationship with HF.This article mainly describes the structure of FABP4 and PI3K and their mechanism of action in HF,and provides new biomarkers and targets for the clinical diagnosis of HF.
