Research progress in cardiac shock wave therapy for ischemic heart disease

Abstract：Extracorporeal cardiac shock wave therapy(CSWT)is an emerging non-invasive method for the treatment of ischemic heart disease in the past 20 years.Since the birth of this method,the domestic and foreign experts and scholars have conducted a large number of studies involving its mechanism,efficacy and safety.The findings confirm that extracorporeal cardiac shockwave therapy can safely and effectively improve cardiac function and reduce patient symptoms.Despite years of development,this method is still not used widely.This article reviews the mechanism,effectiveness,and safety of extracorporeal cardiac shock wave therapy for ischemic heart disease.
