Use of oral anticoagulants in obese people

Abstract：Direct oral anticoagulants(DOACs)are increasingly used in the treatment of venous thromboembolism and prevention of ischemic stroke in the nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients.Obese patients are at high risk of venous thromboembolism and atrial fibrillation.DOACs had less experience in the obese patients so far and their pharmacokinetics are different from the normal.Based on the researched data,the paper summarizes the application of DOACs in obese patients,providing certain basis for clinicans.
