Technological innovation:a new course for the future development of aortic surgery

Abstract：After over half a century of unremitting struggle,China has realized the life-saving treatment of all common aortic diseases and established effective perioperative comprehensive management strategies,which have greatly improved patients'short-and long-term prognosis.Under the new requirement of"focusing on people's health",how to overcome complicated aortic diseases and provide all-around,high-quality,and precise medical and healthcare services has become the modern mission for our medical practitioners.With the rapid development of basic medicine,information engineering,artificial intelligence,and other theories and technologies,the new development model driven by scientific and technological innovation will bring aortic surgery to a completely new level,and achieve the ultimate goal of"whole life span"for the people.
