In elderly patients with heart failure BNP, thyroid hormone testing and the value of cardiac function and prognosis judgment

Abstract：Objective To study the predictive value of BNP,thyroid hormone for cardiac function and prognosis in old patients with heart failure.Methods Our hospital in January 2014 to January 2015,100 cases of senile heart failure patients as the research object,divided into the experiment group A and group B,50 cases each,in elderly patients with heart failure on BNP detection in the experimental group A,the experimental group B of thyroid hormones in elderly patients with heart failure and effect on the cardiac function and prognosis of two groups of patients were analyzed.Results With the increased level of BNP in elderly patients with heart failure rom 8.0-93.9 pg/ml up to 989-5000.0 pg/ml,cardiac function decreased gradually from grade to grade,BNP level was positively and NYHA heart function classification,r=0.926,P＜0.05.With BNP levels increasing,the incidence rate of MACE detection increased gradually.Thyroid hormone in patients with T3 decreased,while rT3 increased in the state of heart function grade Ⅱ and Ⅳ patients T3,rT3 were compared,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion In elderly patients with BNP and thyroid hormone in patients with heart failure and cardiac function prognosis judgement have a close relationship,not only can make effective diagnosis for the senile heart failure,as well as to the severity of heart failure diagnosis,worthy of clinical popularization and application.
