Relationship between serum bilirubin and lipid index and coronary Gensini score
Abstract:Objectve To investigate the relationship between serum bilirubin and lipid index and the severity of coronary artery disease in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 522 patients with coronary angiography confirmed were divided into CHD group (321 cases) and non CHD group (201 cases),the CHD patients were divided into low risk group(156 cases),middle risk group(97 cases) and high risk group (68 cases).Total bilirubin (TBIL),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),TC/(HDL-C +TBIL) and LDL-C/(HDL-C +TBIL) index were analyzed. Results For LDL-C/(HDL-C+TBIL),the high risk group (0.35±0.16) was higher than that of control group (0.13±0.08),low risk group (0.15±0.09) and middle risk group (0.19±0.11)(P<0.05).For TC/(HDL-C+TBIL),the high risk group (0.51±0.27) was higher than that of the control group (0.24±0.11) and the low risk group(0.31±0.21) and the middle risk group(0.35±0.23))(P<0.05);LDL-C/(HDL-C+TBIL) and TC/(HDL-C+TBIL) index were positively correlated with coronary Gensini score (r=0.591,r=0.572,P<0.01).Conclusion The comprehensive index of serum bilirubin and lipids can be used as one of the indexes to reflect the severity of coronary artery disease.
