Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of Psycho-cardiology on heart rate variability and cardiac function in patients with anxiety and depression. Methods 150 cases of coronary heart disease with depression and anxiety from 1st January 2014 to 30th December 2016 administered in our hospital were collected and analyzed. The patients were divided into experimental and control groups randomly. The 70 patients in control group were treated by standard treatment of coronary heart disease and health education. While 80 patients in the experimental group were accepted with Seroxat added to the standard treatment.Therapeutic effects were compared. Results Heart rate variability index, left ventricular ejection fractions, cardiac outputs and stroke volume were all improved.SDS and SAS were decreased after treatment between these two groups, the differences were statistical significant (P<0.01) after treatment between these two groups. Conclusion Psycho-cardiology can improve depression and anxiety in patients with coronary artery disease and heart function, promote patients to reintegrate into society.
