Short-term effects of tricuspid valve replacement
Abstract：Objective To summarize the clinical experiences of tricuspid valve replacement in severe patients.Methods Retrospective analysis the data of 39 cases who treated with tricuspid valve replacement from June 2005 to July 2015,in TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital.Results 24 cases implanted with the Biological valves,15 cases implanted with bi-leaflet mechanical valves.Multiple organ failure occurred in 7 patients during perioperative period,V-A extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in 2 case,CRRT in 2 cases,3 cases died of Multiple organ failure,three degree of atrioventricular block in 2 cases.36 patients were discharged from hospital,30 cases were followed up from 2 months to 3 years,6 patients were lost to follow-up,all-cause death in 4 cases,cardiac death in 2 cases.Valve thrombosis in 1 case,the rest recovered well.Conclusion The tricuspid valve replacement in severe cases is feasible,the early mortality can be accepted,the active and effective perioperative treatment can obtain satisfactory clinical effect.
