Abstract:Objective To investigate the serum level changes of Myocyte enhancer factor 2A(MEF2A),Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) and Monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and the relationship between the degree of coronary artery lesions, analysis of the possible mechanism of the changes. Methods Using ELISA method to detect the serum changes of MEF2A and PAI1,MCP-1 between the 75 ACS patients and 35 healthy controls. Results (1)The ACS patients serum levels of MEF2A was significantly lower than the control group[(88.70±4.38)ng/L vs (640.42±46.66)ng/L] (P<0.05).(2)The ACS group blood levels of PAI-1,MCP-1 was significantly higher than the control group [(12.85-±2.60)U/L vs (7.61±5.23)U/L,(842.2±20.86)μg/L vs (408.88±29.56)μg/L](P<0.05).(3)In the ACS group MEF2A and PAI-1,MCP-1 level changes showed a negative correlation (r=0.739,P<0.01;r=0.544,P<0.01).Conclusion The serum level of MEF2A and PAI-1,MCP-1 level change negatively correlated.MEF2A,PAI-1,MCP-1 level changes on the evaluation of degree of ACS vascular inflammation and plaque stability has important clinical significance.
