Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationships between plasma soluble urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor(suPAR),high-sensitive reactive protein(hs-CRP) and coronary slow flow(CSF),and to explore the effect of suPAR on CSF and the factors influencing CSF.Methods Patients with suspicion of coronary artery disease who had angiographically normal coronary arteries were enrolled.Based on coronary TIMI frame count, patients were divided into CSF group(n=53) and normal coronary flow(NCF) group(n=42).Coronary risk factors were documented.Plasma suPAR and hs-CRP levels were measured. Results There were no difference in the incidences of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and early familial coronary artery disease between the two groups,as well as in the lipid levels. The rate of smoking was significantly higher in the CSF group than the NCF group (72% vs 48%,P=0.02).Plasma suPAR and hs-CRP levels in the CSF group were significantly increased compared with the NCF group[(3.01±0.05)ng/ml vs (1.33±0.06)ng/ml,P<0.01;(1.07±0.04)mg/L vs (0.71-± 0.05)mg/L,P<0.01].Plasma suPAR and hs-CRP levels correlated significantly with coronary TIMI frame count as revealed by linear regression analysis (R2=0.83,P<0.01;R2=0.71,P<0.01).The multiple regression analysis showed that suPAR,hs-CRP and smoking were positively related with coronary TIMI frame (R2=0.64,P<0.01),particularly,suPAR had the greatest impact (standard β3=0.62).Conclusion The present study demonstrates that the plasma suPAR,hs-CRP levels and smoking are positively related with CSF.In particular, the plasma suPAR level is the best predictor to the CSF phenomenon.
