Observe the antihypertensive effect of Levamlodipine besylate on hypertension with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the antihypertensive effect of Levamlodipine besylate and Valsartan on hypertension with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Methods Eighty-three patients with mild and moderate hy-pertension complicated with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome were enrolled in this study. After taking placebo for 2 weeks, forty-three patients were divided into experimental group (n=43) and the control group of 40 cases (n=40). After 24 hours of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, two group patients respectively taking Levamlodipine besylate and Valsartan. After 8 weeks of medication treatment, the analysis of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure was performed. Results Compared the two groups of dynamic blood pressure, the experimental group and the control group after 8 weeks of using antihypertensive drugs; the average systolic blood pressure (24 h SBP), 24 h average diastolic blood pressure (24 h DBP), daytime average systolic blood pressure (dMSP), daytime average diastolic blood pressure(dMDP), average systolic blood pressure(nMSP) and average diastolic blood pressure(nMDP) were significantly different from those of baseline blood pressure (P<0.05). There was similar between the experimental group and the control group at 24 h SBP, 24 h DBP, dMSP, dMDP and nMDP (P>0.05). There were significant differences in dMSP between the experimental group and the control group (P<0.05). The effective rate of the ex-perimental group was 69.8%, and the effective rate of the control group was 72.5%. There was similar in curative effect between the experimental group and the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion Levamlodipine besylate can effectively reduce the blood pressure of patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome complicated with hyperten-sion. Compared with Valsartan, the antihypertensive effect of Levamlodipine besylate was no significant difference.
