Clinical characteristics and related etiology factors in old patients with left main coronary artery disease
Abstract:Objective To explore the characteristics and related etiology factors in patients with left main coronary artery disease. Methods 195 patients diagnosed CHD by coronary angiography from September 2012 to September 2016 were enrolled in our study. Patients were divided into left main coronary lesion group (LMCA, n=52) and observation group(n=143) according to whether combined with left main lesion. Basic clinical data, labo-ratory results and PCI procedure were retrospectively analyzed to figure out the related etiology factors and charac-teristics of such patients. Results Compared with observation group, the incidence of diabetes (40.4% vs 28.7%, P=0.041), the level of uric acid [(367.04±45.63)μmol/L vs (352.57±41.91)μmol/L, P=0.014] and hs-CRP [(4.01±0.91)mg/L vs(3.46±0.98)mg/L, P=0.038] was much higher in LMCA group. Logistic regression analysis showed that diabetes(P=0.048), uric acid(P=0.021) and hs-CRP(P=0.042) were independent predictors of LM-CA. Conclusion Diabetes, uric acid and hs-CRP were independent predictors LMCA, and such Patients may confronted with more serious lesion of coronary artery.
