Abstract:Objective To evaluate the surgical risk in department of thoracic surgery by treadmill exercise test. Methods During the 2016.1-2016.6 period,273 patients who underwent surgery in the department of thoracic surgery were evaluated with routine treadmill exercise and followed up until the end of the perioperative period. Results 31 patients underwent treadmill exercise test with negative resultsand 42 patients with positive treadmill exercise test. All 42 patients underwent coronary angiography, and 8 received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).A total of 264 patients underwent department of thoracic surgery surgery, perioperative myocardial infarction was 1.The sensitivity of treadmill exercise test was 95.8%,specificity was 92.4%,positive predictive value was 54.8%,negative predictive value was 99.6%,accuracy rate was 92.7%.Conclusion Department of thoracic surgery is a high risk surgery.Preoperative routine treadmill exercise test with higher sensitivity, can identify most of the potential cardiovascular risk patients, but the clinical application is simple and economic, can be further popularized.
