Community medical insomnia hypertension prevalence and related factors analysis

Abstract：Objective To analyze the prevalence of hypertension and related influencing factors in insomnia patients.Methods A stratified cluster random sampling method was used to investigate 2215 insomniacs aged 15 years and over in this community.Physical examination was conducted to analyze the age,body weight and sleep time.The probability of hypertensive patients with insomnia was determined.The influencing factors of hypertension in insomnia were analyzed.Results The prevalence of hypertension was higher in the insomnia group,and the age,weight,sleep time and sleep status of the insomniacs were higher than those of the insomniacs.The prevalence of hypertension was higher in the elderly,overweight and too little sleep time.The difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension in insomniacs is higher in this community,and the prevalence of hypertension in insomniacs is influenced by their age,body weight and sleep time.Therefore,it is necessary to prevent the occurrence of hypertensive disorder the probability.
