The changes of serum bilirubin level after PCI in patients with coronary heart disease and the correlation analysis between serum bilirubin level and the restenosis
Abstract:Objective To discuss the change rule of serum bilirubin level after PCI in patients and the correlation analysis between serum bilirubin level and the restenosis. Methods 234 patients who received PCI successfully were enrolled and divided into two groups:ISR group(n=22)and non-ISR group(n=212)according to follow-up results. Blood samples for serum bilirubin level were obtained, compared and analyzed before PCI,at half a month, one month, three months, six months after PCI. Results ⑴In DES group patients, the serum bilirubin level after PCI was significantly higher than that before PCI and the difference was statistically significan [TBIL at one month after PCI (18.0±4.9)μmol/L vs TBIL before PCI (13.8±4.3)μmol/L,P<0.05]. ⑵Patients with in-stent restenosis (ISR)had significantly lower level of TBIL than their counterparts without in-stent resteno-sis before PCI[ISR group(11.4±2.7)μmol/L vs non-ISR group(14.0±4.4)μmol/L,P<0.05]. ⑶The rising TBIL after PCI was associated with DBIL and IBIL (the correlation coefficient was 0.825 and 0.672,respectively). And the DBIL had stronger relationship with TBIL than IBIL. Conclusion The basal serum level of bilirubin has nega-tive correlation with ISR after PCI and it could be one of protective factors for ISR. The rising serum bilirubin after PCI is mainly on DBIL.
