Abstract:To investigate the effects of different irrigation amounts on agronomic characters and photosynthetic efficiency of cucumber in solar greenhouse, the experiment used the cucumber variety Jinyuan 60 as the material. Five irrigation treatments were set up:CK(253.39 mm),A1(153.39 mm),A2(453.39 mm),A3(653.39 mm),and A4(853.39 mm). The study examined their impact on key agronomic traits(plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, internode length, dry matter content,root-shoot ratio, root length),leaf relative chlorophyll content, photosynthetic efficiency(photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and intercellular CO2 concentration)as well as single fruit mass of greenhouse cucumber. The results showed that compared to other treatments, the agronomic characters of cucumber increased significantly under the A3 treatment. The single fruit mass reached the maximum of 169.2 g under A3 treatment. In addition,in terms of leaf photosynthetic efficiency, the A3 treatment resulted in a significant increase in photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rate, while the intercellular CO2 concentration decreased significantly, and the highest photosynthetic rate was 23.40μmol·m-2·s-1. In summary, under solar greenhouse conditions,an irrigation level of 653.39 mm significantly promotes the growth and development of Jinyuan 60 cucumber, enhances photosynthetic efficiency, and improves product quality.
