Abstract:In order to explore the effect of adding Trichoderma with different concentrations in the substrate on watermelon seedling cultivation, different concentrations of Trichoderma were applied in the watermelon hole pan substrate, including blank control CK,T1(104 CFU·g-1),T2(105 CFU·g-1),T3(106 CFU·g-1),T4(107 CFU·g-1)and T5(108 CFU·g-1),to screen for the appropriate concentration of Trichoderma. The results showed that compared to conventional substrate treat-ment,the mixed substrate treatment with Trichoderma could significantly promote the growth of watermelon seedlings. Among different concentrations of Trichoderma,T3 showed significantly higher plant height, stem diameter, aboveground fresh mass, aboveground dry mass, root length, underground fresh mass, underground dry mass, root surface area, number of tips and root shoot ratio compared to other concentration treatments. The emergence rate of T3 was the highest at all times, reaching 100.00% at 21 days, and the difference between T3 and other treatments was significant. The strong seed-ling index of T3 was the highest(7.33),with significant differences compared to other treatments, and the strong seedling index showed T3>T2>T5>T4>T1>CK. Overall, the optimal concentration of Trichoderma is 106 CFU·g-1.
