Abstract:In order to reveal the potential regulatory substances involved in primordium development of Pleurotus ostrea-tus,the metabolomics was used to detected the cellular metabolites in mycelium and primordium. The results showed that there were significant differences between the cellular metabolites in mycelium and primordium.A total of 400 differen-tial metabolites were screened under the condition of VIP(varible importance in the projection)≥1 and fold change≥2 or ≤0.5 using orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA).According to pathway analysis, these differential substances might involve 33 metabolic pathways, among which 8 metabolic pathways, including alanine,as-partate and glutamate, aminoacyl tRNA biosynthesis and purine metabolism, had extremely significant effects.Glutamate and glutamine involved in most of the metabolic pathways with p<0.01,therefore they might play an important regulato-ry role in primordium development of P.ostreatus.This study provides a theoretical basis for exploring the development mechanism of P.ostreatus and other macrofungus.
