A new dwarf snap bean variety ‘ Sucaidou No.7’

Abstract：‘ Sucaidou No.7’ is a new medium maturity dwarf snap bean variety developed by crossing dwarf snap bean ‘81-6’ as female parent and ‘Lishuihonghua’ as male parent through pedigree breeding method.The plant height is about 52.9 cm with pruple flowers.Its green-white pod is straight and oblateness,15.7 cm in length,0.9 cm in width,the single pot weight is 7.5 g.It takes about 50 days from sowing to harvest.The variety has good resistant to virus disease,leaf mold and root rot in the field.The seed is flat oval shaped,with 345.2 g in thousand seed weight The average yield per 667 m2 is 800-1 200 kg· hm-2.It is suitable for cultivation in open field and greenhouse in Jiangsu province and the Yangtze River region in spring and autumn.
