Effects of high temperature on agronomic traits of flowering Chinese cabbages in roof garden

Abstract：Four flowering Chinese cabbage cultivars were evaluated to study the influences of heat stress on agronomic traits at summer roof garden.The results showed that the sprouts diameter and sprouts weight were reduced under high temperature,the average descend range was 10.85％,14.08％ respectively,which caused the decrease of yields and biomass in roof garden,the descend range was 14.15％,18.00％ respectively.Different varieties exhibited great differences,the descend range of 'Sijiu-19'was found no significant difference between roof and CK,while the difference of 'Teqingchi'showed significance difference in yields and biomass when compared with CK.No significant decrease were found in the traits of plant height,sprouts height,plant leaves,largest leaf width,petiole length and petiole width between roof and CK under high temperature.In conclution,'Sijiu-19'showed the best high temperature resistance,it could be applied in the summer roof garden.
