Influence of cutting regeneration technique at high density on physiological growth of oversummering hydroponics lettuce in Hainan

Abstract：In order to ascertain the influence of cutting regeneration technique at high density on physiological growth of oversummering hydroponics lettuce in Hainan,nine types of lettuces were taken as materials and were compared by the index of morphology,quality,physiology,regeneration capability and yield.The results showed that vertical lettuce and butter lettuce are the best from the morphological indicators.In terms of the index of physiology,quality,regeneration capability and yield of plant,vertical lettuce was the best variety,followed by butter lettuce.These two lettuce types could be harvested 3 times in continuous,and their yields could reach to 5.16,4.80 kg·m-2 within 50 days respectively.'Italy upright lettuce'and 'Naiyou lettuce'are the best cut-resistant lettuce varieties planting at high density of oversummering hydroponics in Hainan.
