Influence of different concentration of strong seedling agents on watermelon seedlings growth

Abstract：The overgrowth of watermelon seedlings will cause the problems such as slender stem,light green and thin leaves,undeveloped root system,slow seedling recovering after planting and so on.In order to control overgrowth and cultivate high-quality watermelon seedlings,the influence of different concentrations of strong seedling agents on the growth of watermelon seedlings was studied.The results indicated that after treated by 100 times agents,the weight-high ratio of watermelon seedlings was 0.015 0,the average value of root-shoot ratio was 0.091 3,the robust watermelon seedlings ratio was 0.0600.Comparedthe situation of seedlingsafter planting,the stem diameter and leaf area of 100 times agents treatments were the largest,were 0.55 cm and 45.60 cm2 respectively,the average plant hight was 7.37 cm.After comprehensive analysis,the 100 times agents treatments performed well in various indexes and it could be recommended to seedling farmers.
