Effect of brassinolide on the growth and development of mini-watermelon fruit

Abstract：In order to explore the effect of brassinolide on appearance and quality of mini watermelon fruit and fill the gaps in this field,the whole plant was sprayed with 6 different concentrations of brassinolide,the fruit yield,appearance and quality were studied.The results showed that the fruit shape,peel thickness,peel hardness,soluble solids content,taste and fiber were not obviously effected by brassinolide,but when treated by 0.05 mg· L-1 brassinolide,the 667 m2 yield reached 3 372.8 kg,which were significantly increased by 12.22％ than the control.
