The seed liposoluble constituents analysis of white bitter gourd by GC-MS

Abstract：Take white bitter gourd as test materials,the seed liposoluble chemical components and relative contents were studied by GC-MS.The results showed that 20,23,31 compounds were identified from 'Y88','Y92' and 'Y137',respectively.One kind of liposoluble component was peculiar to ' Y88'.Seven kinds of liposoluble components were peculiar to 'Y137'.The main liposoluble chemical components included elasterol,β-Amyrin,β-Tocopherol,24-methylenecycloartanol,γ-Tocopherol and Vitamine E.Moreover,the relative contents of elasterol in all the 3 white bitter gourd germplasm were the highest,accounting for 20.944％,14.461％,and 16.135％,respectively.This study could provide basis for the development and utilization of bitter gourd germplasm.
