Collection and preservation of Hodogsonia macrocarpa germplasm resources in Yunan

Abstract：Hodgsonia macrocarpa,whose oil content can reach 80％,is an important oil crops,showing high developing potential.By collecting and preserving 39 wild germplasms in different parts in Yunnan,hodgsonia macrocarpa was cultivated in Yunnan Institute of Tropical Crops,the biological characteristics were observed and the preliminary evaluation was conducted.The results showed that the indivedual differences were very big.The difference of maximum and minimum seed quality was 20.8 g,laying a foundation for the exploration and utilization of wild hodgsonia macrocarpa germplasms.
