Abstract：The formation of adventitious root is a complex biological process which is effected by the plant genotype,physiological condition and environmental factors.Research on the formation of adventitious root have theoretical significance on the development mechanism of adventitious root and obvious application value on the commercial plant seedlings.It has been reported that the accumulation of auxin plays an important role in the formation of adventitious roots.The effects of phytohormone,downstream molecular signal,related gene and protein in vegetable adventitious root formation and development is reviewed in this paper.
