Breeding of new variety of head cabbage‘Ruigan 17’

Abstract：‘Ruigan 17’is a new autumn head cabbage variety crossed by male sterile line‘CMS04-13’and self-incompati?ble line‘03-8-1-2-4-1 ’. The growth period is about 84 days. The leaf ball is oblateness and compaction, and the crack resistance is better. The weight of a single leaf ball is about 2 kg and the yield per acre is about 6 400 kg. The heat resistance is stronger, and virus disease and black rot resistance are good. The colr of leaf ball is green. It tastes crisp and sweet and has good quality and commodity characters.
