A new watermelon variety‘Jingza 30’with few seeds

Abstract：‘Jingza 30’selected from‘87005’ב2007’,is a new mid-early maturity watermelon variety . The plant grows vigorously with strong disease resistance and better fruit setting. The total growing period is about 100 days,and the fruit development period is about 32 days. The fruit is round with green skin and dark green stripes. The flesh is red,crispy,juicy, not easy to be hollow,seeds inside are few and TSS in center is 12%-13%. The average fruit size is about 5 kg and the yield per 667 m2 is about 2 500 kg. The rind is durable and thin,about 1.1 cm. It can be cultivated in most regions of China.
