Breeding of seedless watermelon variety‘Jinmi No. 35’

Abstract：‘Jinmi No. 35’is a new seedless watermelon variety, which was bred by crossing‘104X-7’and‘10R-40’. Growth period about 105 days from sowing, and about 35 days to maturity after pollination. Round fruit with dark rind. Per fruit is about 7~8 kg, and 667 m2 yield is about 4 000 kg. Sugar content is over 12.5%.‘Jinmi No. 35’exhibits very steady seedless trait.
