Effects of 1-MCP on the growth and yield of cucumber in solar greenhouse

Abstract：1-MCP is an ethylene inhibitor which is applied widely to preserve postharvest fresh of vegetables and fruits, but very rare in vegetable cultivation This experiment included cultivation experiment of 1-MCP in solar greenhouse on 3 application periods(7 d, 5 d, 2 d before plant) , two application dose(0.35 mL,0.5 mL),two management ways(no removing the first and second females,routine management) . The results showed that the growth of cucumber was promoted by 1-MCP, and the yield was increased in the seeding stage, and the effect of T4 (0.5 mL 1-MCP+2 d before plant+routine management) being the best.
