Abstract:In order to provide theoretical basis for planting and management of different Brassica rapa L. vegetables, taking Chinese cabbage, non-heading Chinese cabbage and turnip as materials, the photosynthetic active radiation (PAR), net pho?tosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate(Tr), intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci), stomatal conductance(Gs),leaf temperature (Tl) as well as instantaneous water use efficiency (WUEst) were measured using portable CI-340 photosynthesis system un?der the condition of field cultivation. The results showed that there were highly significant differences in Pn, Tr and Tl of three Brassica rapa L. vegetables and significant differences in Ci. However, there were no significant differences in Gs and WUEst. In addition, the curves of the diurnal variation in Pn of them had two peaks, but there were differences in the time of second peaks. Correlation analysis showed that physio-ecological factors containing PAR, Tr, Ci, Gs and Tl had different ef?fects on Pn. WUEst and Ci were the predominant factors to the Pn of Chinese cabbage and turnip. However, the influence of various factors on Pn of non-heading cabbage reached significant or highly significant level.
