Effect of cultivation field border form on physiological characteristics, yield and quality of cucumber

Abstract：In order to study the effect of different cultivation field border forms on physiological characteristics, yield and quality of Cucumber, high field border, flat field border and ridge culture were set to compare the changes of all indicators of cucumber under different cultivation field border forms. The results showed that the content of sucrose and reducing sugar, the activity of POD in cucumber leaves were increased significantly, the 3 indicators increased 45.52%~47.01%, 11.64%~15.2%and 18.63%~21.06%respectively. The content of nitrate and chlorophyll, the activity of nitrate reductase, CAT and SOD were increased to some extent, the five indicators increased 4.34%~9.52%, 1.81%~2.21%, 5.49%~7.8%, 2.56%~4.31%and 3.58%~4.08%respectively. The yield and quality of cucumber were improved and increased effectively under flat field border compared with high field border and ridge culture. Flat field border in the facilities cucumber production is the best cultivation field border form, and it will provide an effective guarantee for high yield cultivation of cucumber under structure.
