Evaluation of Watermelon Varieties with Cracking Tolerance in Beijing

Abstract：In order to select medium size watermelon with durable rind,Jingxin No. 3’,‘Big Fruit Durable Jingxin No. 3’,‘Durable Jingxin No. 3’and‘Durable Jingxin No. 3 Improved’were evaluated in Spring greenhouses in Panggezhuang,Daxing District of Beijing.‘Durable Jingxin No. 3’had the best overall performance in our trial.
