A New Bean Variety‘Liannong No. 10’

Abstract：‘Liannong No. 10’is bred by pedigree selection from the population derived from‘Thailand beans’as female parent and‘Liannong-923’as male parent. The plant is vining,the pods are long and straight with white and green color. The length of the pod in greenhouse can reach 23.8 cm in spring,the weight of pod can reach 23.6 g,the index of pod shape is 1.41,and 667 m2 yields can reach 3 500 kg;the data in autumn is,however,29.6,30-40,1.34 and 1 600 kg, respectively. The Vc content of the pod is 14.95 mg/100 g,the SSC is 4.06%,and the crude protein is 4.1%. The plant is highly resistant to rust,suitable for the planting in open field and greenhouse in north China.‘Liannong No. 10’usually performance well.
