Effect of Fertilizer,Density,Pruning and Soil Moisture on‘Haimi No. 5’ Seed Yield and Quality

Abstract：In order to improve the seed yield and quality of muskmelon‘Haimi No. 5’,the effect of different fertilizer,densi-ty,pruning methods and soil moisture were tested through the orthogonal experiment. The best results were achieved by in-creasing of calcium application,density of plant up to 2 200 per 667 m2;removing shoot tip at about 23 knots,setting fruit at 9-13 nodes,and having soil moisture at 70%-80%.
