Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the cost-utility of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(rTMS)combining with Denepezil for Alzheimer's Disease(AD)treatment and provide scientific evidence for clinical decision-making.Methods:Based on clinical trial data,a cost-utility analysis was conducted collecting direct medical costs, direct non-medical costs, and indirect costs of rTMS treatment Combined with Donepezil.Health utility values were assessed using Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)conversion formula. The Incremental Cost-Utility Ratio(ICUR)was calculated with sensitivity analysis performed. Results:Total cost of rTMS combined treatment for AD was 404 421.5 yuan with incremental health utility of 0.47.The ICUR was below three times Gross Domestic Product(GDP)threshold, indicating cost-effectiveness compared to traditional therapy.Sensitivity analysis showed transition probability of mild AD is the key parameter influencing this ratio. However, the results remain robust even when this parameter fluctuates within a reasonable range. Conclusion:The combination of rTMS and donepezil demonstrates economic feasibility in treating Alzheimer's disease and significantly improves patient health utility scores. Its clinical implementation is recommended.
