Abstract：It introduces Australia's health insurance system and specific measures and effects to promote equity,aiming at providing suggestions for promoting the reform of China's health insurance system.The emphasis on equity and efficiency in the Australian health insurance system has made it an important model in the world.The inspiration brought by its successful experience is that equity is an important starting point for the design of health insurance systems;government investment plays a dominant role,with central and local governments sharing responsibilities;a dual system framework of national health insurance and commercial health insurance,forming a responsibility sharing mechanism among the government,society,and individuals.
