Research on the Progress and Equity of Disease Control Projects in Basic Public Health Services

Abstract：Objective:To understand the progress and equity of disease control projects in basic public health services of China.Methods:According to purposive sampling method,based on administrative division,geographical allocation and economic development level,Beijing,Guangzhou,Hubei,Jilin,Yunnan and Xinjiang were selected as the research areas to analyze the related data of disease control projects in monitoring system report.The equity of disease control projects in different provinces were estimated by Gini index.Results:The disease control progress of basic public health services in sample provinces from 2009 to 2014 was in a steady increasing trend,the Gini index of different services ranged around 0.3～0.4,the equity was relative low.There were large differences of patients with hypertension and diabetes among different provinces.Conclusion:The equity of basic public health service disease control projects needed to be improved,especially for the management projects of patients with hypertension and diabetes.
