Analysis on the Warning Indicator System Application of Medical Cost for the Patients with Basic Social Health Insurance in Non-public Medical Institutions of Shanghai
Abstract:Objective:To analyze the application of the warning indicator system constructed by the study to surveillance medical cost of the patients with Basic Social Health Insurance(BSHI) in non-public medical institutions of Shanghai.Methods:The data related to service volume and medical cost of BSHI from July to December in 2016 were collected and applied to analyze the implementation of the warning indicator system.Results:The average numbers of the warned indicators for outpatient and inpatient medical costs of the patients with BSHI in non-public medical institutions were 5.51 and 3.16,respectively.The average numbers of the warned institutions per month for outpatient and inpatient medical cost were 23.99 and 16.17,averagely.The numbers of institutions that were warned over 3 months within half a year were 12 and 10,respectively.Conclusion:The warning results,using warning indicator system of medical cost for the patients with BSHI,reflected the actual medical cost in non-public medical institutions in Shanghai.Information system should be used to improve the efficiency in the application of the warning indicator system and in the surveillance of medical cost.Moreover,the delicacy management of the classification of the authorized non-public medical institutions should be improved.
