Analysis on Avoidable Admission of Diabetes in China
Abstract:Objective:To study the avoidable chnical identification index framework of diabetes,analyze the avoidable hospitalization reason that might effected diabetes,and provide suggestions.Methods:By drawing on the relevant research from abroad,it developed a substitutional criterion for avoidable admissions of diabetes by consulting Chinese clinicians,collected the data of inpatient medical records of the eastern,central and western hospitals to analyze the avoidable admission rate with diabetes mellitus to explore the impact of avoidable admission of diabetes in China based on univariate analysis and logistic regression analysis.Results:In China,avoidable admission rate for the diabetes was about 4.5% of the sample.According to Logistic regression analysis,it found that the region,15-44 year-olds,retired outpatients and urban employee basic medical insurance were the main risk factors for avoiding hospitalization for diabetes(P<0.05).Conclusion:In China,the phenomenon of avoidable admission of diabetes mellitus was relatively common.The level of primary health care of diabetes should be strengthened,the scope of service should be expanded,the utilization rate of outpatient resources should be increased,and the contractual using of health resources should be further promoted.
