Research on the Relationship between Medical Insurance and Total Health Expenditure in Inner Mongolia: Based on Grey Relative Correlation Analysis Method

Abstract：Objective:To study the relationship between medical insurance expenditure and total health expenditure in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Methods:Selecting the relevant data (2009-2014) in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the sample,to analyze the relationship between health care expenditure and total health expenditure with three kinds of methods:grey relative correlation model,grey absolute correlation model,grey comprehensive correlation model.Specifically,there were four types of relationships:(1) medical security expenditure and the total health expenses;(2) government health care expenditure and the total health expenses analysis;(3) health expenditure of social medical insurance and the total health expenses;(4) health expenditure analysis of commercial medical insurance and the total health expenses.Results:From the perspective of total health expenditure in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,the correlation of government health expenditure was higher than the correlation of social health expenditure:from the result of medical insurance fund of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,basic medical insurance fund for urban residents and the new rural cooperative medical insurance fund were relatively high;from the result of per capita health care consumption and personal cash the expenditure,the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region medical expenditure related degree order from large to small:personal health expenditure of rural residents,per capita consumption of health care,urban residents per capita consumption of health care.Conclusion:The structure of total health expenditure became mnore and more reasonable.The proportion of government medical insurance expenditure increased by day,and the individual cash hygiene expenditure of residents was still relatively high.The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region medical insurance fund was inequality between urban and rural areas.
