Analysis on Economic Vulnerability of Village Clinics in Shandong after the New Medical Reform
Abstract:Objective:To analyze the economic vulnerability of village clinic in Shandong after new medical reform.Methods:Evaluation indexes for the vulnerability of clinics were selected.Set pair analysis and obstacle factors analysis were adopted to conduct the analysis.Results:From 2012 to 2014,the economic sensibility and resiliency of village clinics were high.The indexes of economic sensibility and resiliency were higher than 0.87 and 0.96 respectively.In general,the economic vulnerability of village clinic was acceptable,the economic vulnerability index was below 0.26,which increased after decreased.Income from diagnosis and treatment was the main contributing factor for economic sensibility.The obstacle indexes from 2012-2014 were 0.046 8,0.042 6 and 0.389 0 Limit of the new rural cooperative medical system was the main obstacle factor for economic resiliency.The obstacle indexes from 2012-2014 were 0.537 8,0.455 8 and 0.494 2 respectively.Conclusion:The economic vulnerability of village clinic was acceptable,but in the risk of "high sensibility-high resiliency-low vulnerability".People's choice for health care services and operating costs of village clinics were main reasons for economic vulnerability.New Rural Cooperative Medical System Reimbursement was the key obstacle factor for village clinic economics.
