Research on C-DRG Clinical Grouping Methods
Abstract：The clinical grouping of Pricing and Payment Regulation on Chinese Diagnosis-Related Groups (C-DRG) is the process of categorizing Adjacent Diagnosis Related Groups (ADRG) following the principle of giving priority to clinical homogeneity as well as factoring in the resources utilization.The research was based on specialist consulting,data analysis and international comparison,including steps of setting framework,matching major diagnosis and major procedures,editing multi-discipline diagnosis,removing duplicated items,setting rules and verifying with data.484 ADRGs were produced in accordance with data analysis result.C-DRG clinical grouping methods give full expression to Chinese clinical practices,being proved to be of good availability and practical value,as well as being the foundation for classifying final DRG groups.
