Analysis on Spatial Aggregation Feature of Health Resources in Guangdong
Abstract:Objective:To analyze the apatial aggregation feature of health resources in 21 cities of Guangdong so as to provide references for the rational allocation of medical resources in different regions of Guangdong.Methods:The evaluation index system for the characteristics of health resources agglomeration were constructed via 10 secondary indexes of medical human resources,medical service facilities and medical service benefits.Entropy TOPSIS method was used to define the index balance and health resource agglomeration level.It evaluated the spatial difference of health resources in different regions of Guangzhou by GIS.Results:Equipments over 10 000 yuan,housing construction areas and practicing (assistant) physicians had important impact on the level of health resources in Guangdong.The health resource agglomeration indexes of Shenzhen and Guangzhou were above 0.6.The health resource indexes of Shanwei,Yunfu,Yangjiang,Heyuan and Chaozhou were below 0.1.The index of Pearl River Delta Region was higher than the eastern,western and northern regions.Conclusion:The situation of medical resources agglomeration in Guangdong showed the characteristics of polarization and regional disparity.It suggested to make scientific and regional health planning,strengthen the health human resources training,relax the medical and health access threshold and reduce health disparities between regions.
