Analysis on Curative Expenditure on Cardio-cerebral Vascular Diseases of the Elderly in Jilin
Abstract:Objective:Based on SHA 2011,it estimated curative care expenditure on cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of the elderly in Jilin in 2014,and analyzed the expenditure by financing schemes and health provider,so as to provide the scientific basis for the control of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases expenditures.Methods:Based on SHA 2011 framework,it estimated the aggregate of curative care expenditure on cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of the elderly,as well as the expenditure by beneficiary,health provider and group expenditure allocation.Results:The curative care expenditure on cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of the elderly amounted to 3.49 billion yuan in Jilin in 2014,accounting for 64.56% of curative care expenditure on cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of total residents.Disease that spent the top five highest expenditure was heart diseases,atherosclerosis,cerebral infarction,hemorrhagic cere-brovascular disease and primary hypertension;the elderly patients aging 80-84 consumed the largest share of curative expenditure,standing 22.55%;household OOP contributed 48.87% of the expenditure,which was slightly higher than public financing schemes;86.64% of the curative expenditure flew to hospitals;and the male consumed more than the female.Conclusion:Household assumed a heavy financial burden in financing of curative expenditure on cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of the elderly in Jilin;the distribution of the expenditure by health provider was unreasonable.It needed to intensify health inventions for cardio-cerebral vascular diseases of the elderly as well as to further perfect medical security schemes for the elderly.
